Saxophonist Karen has appeared for us many times and here she’s joined by Nikki Iles, always incisive at the piano and a noted jazz educator, with two familiar Pinner friends in bassist Dave Green and drummer Steve Brown keeping their collective eye on swing. Small in number maybe but potent musically: a delight in prospect.
