Well-known for inspired new re-stylings of American songbook standards, distinctive new jazz re-works of soul/pop classics and own compositions. A long-time fan of Mark Murphy, he has enjoyed many sell out shows at Ronnie Scott’s, most of London’s main jazz clubs and venues nationwide and in Europe. He’s also played several jazz festivals inc. Cheltenham, had a live concert broadcast on Jazz FM and his distinctive vocals heard in TV & radio commercials. This special show celebrates the release of Kevin’s long awaited second album – recorded live at the Pizza Express Jazz Club last year, so get set for the album performed in its entirety plus highlights from that exhilarating gig. Furthermore, his band are described by eminent Jazzwise Magazine in review of Fitzsimmons debut album as “the cream of UK straight-ahead jazz musicians, solid and groove aplenty”
