My Iris is the latest ensemble project from saxophonist, BASCA British Composer Award winner and former BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist Trish Clowes. This small ensemble project brings Clowes’ gifts for melody, form, improvisation and leadership further in to the foreground. Her intricate compositions juxtapose startling melodies and ethereal whispers with gnarly lines and earthy grooves to create a sound world that is both intimate and thrilling.
