With his latest project, drawn from his 16th studio album, the great British jazz musician Courtney Pine plays the most intimate shows of his long and celebrated career.
He takes to the stage playing bass clarinet, drawing magic from its ‘low-register purrs and ship’s-timber creakings, lustrous mid-tones and whistling upper range’. (The Guardian).
He is accompanied by fellow Mercury nominee and MOBO Award winning pianist, Zoe Rahman, whose subtle and highly individual collaboration is the perfect pairing for this celebration of timeless ballads.
