Kit Packham Brings his One Jump Ahead Band for a swinging Valentine’s Party on the Sunday Lunch Sessions (2.30pm) Much feted singer and saxophonist Kit Packham & his swinging five-piece, performing much loved Jazz standards, romantic Blues and Jump/Jive material with the occasional love song or tune of his own. Kit often works local or topical references into the lyrics, writing his own witty versions of several jazz classics to bring them into the 21st century, whilst blending melody and foot-tapping rhythms to produce instrumentals of real class on alto or tenor saxophone.
