About
Mez and the Fezzes will take to the stage of the Peckham Liberal Club for a glorious night of top tunes and soul-shaking grooves from the 1950s and 1960s.
The vintage dance-hall of the PLC is the perfect back drop for the lineup of performers who have collaborated with the likes of Jools Holland, Madness, Sir Tom Jones, Paul McCartney, Robert Plant and many more.
Mez Clough (who has played with Madness founding members Mark Bedford and Lee Thompson) will play the drums. He leads the Fezzes who are: Phil Veacock on tenor saxophone (Jools Holland’s Rhythm, Tom Jones, Smokey Robinson and Robert Plant), Joe Aukland on trumpet (The Horne Section, Mumford and Sons, Girls Aloud, The Pet Shop Boys and Jamie Cullum), Simon Picton on guitar (The Herbaliser and numerous rhythm n’ blues and jazz bands), Daniel Drury on bass (Madness, The Magic Brothers and a regular at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club), and Sean Hargreaves on keyboards (Michael Bublé, Alison Moyet, Natalie Imbruglia as well as many top UK jazz artists)....
