Swedish by birth, since 2004 Cecilia has been working in Sweden, New York and her adopted city, London as a singer, composer, arranger, recording artist, teacher and vocal coach. Blessed with a wonderful, pure tone and great time Cecilia has built an impressive reputation amongst many of the most influential musicians on the UK jazz scene. For this 606 gig she’ll be bringing her fine electric band, Alex Bennett-piano, Tom Mason-bass and Laurie Lowe-drums, the same line up that she used for her highly successful Love Supreme Jazz Festival appearance. The set will be a mix of groove as well as classic jazz standards, bop originals and Cecilia’s own adaptations of Coltrane tunes.
