Discovery Records Ltd was established in 1978 to represent, import, distribute and promote record labels from France - but has steadily expanded over the years to also include product from most Western European countries, including Germany, Spain, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Denmark and Sweden, as well as labels in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the U.S.A and, of course, the United Kingdom.
During this time, we have built up a widely respected reputation as one of the most knowledgeable and efficient independent wholesale distributors of ‘specialist’ music in the UK.
We are now making our extensive catalogue available to a worldwide public on a retail internet basis.
The recorded music we stock covers almost all genres, including : Jazz, Blues, Folk, World Music, Country, Gospel, Pop, Rock, Soul, Reggae, Easy Listening, Soundtracks, and Classical. At any one time, we stock over 12,000 titles - mainly on CD, with some vinyl and a growing stock of music DVD releases.
Most of our titles will be in stock at any given time, so we can despatch your order quickly - normally on the same day - by First Class Post or for larger orders, ANC Express
We have titles that may sell 25,000 copies a year or only 10 - in either case, our guiding philosophy remains the same: to make available and create awareness in a wide variety of high quality recorded music to as wide a public as possible
