Forwind (pronounced \forwYnd\) is a genre unspecific label. We are primarily interested in a unique approach and original methodology being applied to the work we release rather than it fitting within the confines of any established genres.
We wish to provide a platform for relevant and applicable work from live improvisation to precise studio completed treatments, constructions and compositions that explore the expressive possibilities of both the instruments used and the production tools employed to develop and produce each piece.
Through this we aim to develop, encourage and release work that contributes to the continuation of the existing and established range of auditory, acoustic and instrumental vocabularies. An inquisitive and original approximate to both traditional instruments and modern production and treatment methods are essential.
